Will you come sit by me?

This was taken the first few months in Bucharest. Moving to a new place is never easy at first.

I always want to come and sit next to you, we would have lots of talks and laughter and some serious camera work this invitation-picture, great DOF.
E Etomi: Aww thanks Astrid. You are welcome anytime.
Very nice inviting shot. Great use of the DOF here!
E Etomi: Thanks Richard!

Very inviting, I like pictures of benches for some strange reason, and I especially like the point of view in this.
E Etomi: Thanks Padriag. I am drawn to benches too.

Hmmmm...I like the colour(s), I don't know but when I see this shot I think of Sesame Street.

Critically? Well what kind of impact do you want it to give? What function? It's difficult to criticise a shot like this if you don't know what the purpose is for. As an artist I have learnt that no shot is better or worse. There is no right or wrong. This shot can win you an award for different things. For instance if you were to enter a competition on Climate change or the politics of being Green, this might just be the shot.

Technically? Did you do this purposely or was it a fluke?
E Etomi: It wasn't a fluke, I tried several settings and liked the look of this. I guess I was taking it for the reason I named the picture. I wanted someone to really sit mext to me back then lol, but I can see how it can translate to several other intepretations. Thanks for responding smile
This sums up the loneliness of being a stranger perfectly. I hope you now have lots of people to sit by you!
E Etomi: Yes I do! Thanks Bill
technically: sound shot

message wise: it can send many different messages...that makes it a winner in my books
E Etomi: Thanks Draw. Glad you like it
It looks like a decent bench....not like what I know!
E Etomi: Lol, it was quite comfortable.
