Nice pic. Can still see some blothes on the lower cheek so the cheek looks a bit incomplete but like the picture generally.
E Etomi: Thanks Wale. It was a stubborn blotch

Concentrated too much on the skin smoothning, seem to g=forget about the shot.

Persin in the background too distracting, she wearing red don't help, that door frame is distracting.

Why shoot at ISO800 with flash at f1/15? Not feeling the pose, I know this was a quick catch, but.......

E Etomi: Hi Suby, not sure I understand your question about the f1/15 bit. I know I concentrated on the smoothening..that was the point, I just selected a pic from back I know about ISO.

I'm with Suby on the person in red distracting the shot... but overall, you've done a helluva job with the skin smoothening smile I like it a lot.
E Etomi: Thanks Mia
I don't think the person in the background is distracting at all. I think for what the shot is it's perfect. The lighting is lovely and the smoothening works.

IMHO the person in red is not lit up so there is no focus on them. So I personally don't find them distracting. I bet Steph must like you now.

Well done.
E Etomi: Thanks Jide, one mans meat right smile
Hmmm, can I just say that the lady in question already has really nice skin (well, compared to mine, at any rate. Stephanie'll know what I'm talking about. lol)? Having said that, it's obvious you've done a brilliant job.
E Etomi: Thanks Nkechi...thanks for checking out the pics.

Nicely done. The tones a bit off but perhaps a problem with white balance? In anycase really like the effect overall. Well done!
E Etomi: I must have overdone the CYMK and Yellow colour. Thanks
i really need to learn skin smoothening!
E Etomi: Its cool isn't it...and time consuming! Check out jide's link from yesterdays pic.

you go girl, spot on the best thing about this image is that it doesn't look pp'd. Top marks.
E Etomi: Thanks Atunbi.
hey etomi,

the title really works, for not only does her skin look smooth, but so does her expression. i agree with atunbi...the strength of this shot is that it doesn't look pped.
E Etomi: Thanks Nicole.

The smoothening is well done, very natural and subtle, but the skin tones look a bit off to me, perhaps a tad too yellow.
E Etomi: Thanks Laurie, I know what you mean...too much yellow on the colour balance. I got carried away smile
Brilliant Work Etomi, its beautiful. The pic in the bacground does attract a bit of attention, but just a bit. Its still Okay. the skin doctoring you did is quite impressing too.
E Etomi: Thanks Manuel

This is good, the smoothing is very well done Etomi. As much as I hate agreeing with my nemesis Suby I have to agree with him, the girl in red is distracting. Its the red!!!!!!! our lovely girl is the subject and centre of attention, red is a strong colour and draw the eye away from the the subject sometimes. A masking or selective desaturation of red will help this nice shot a bit more. Yes yes yes I learn all your shutterchance camera lingo as well, LOL. Oh nuts no photo SLAP here.
E Etomi: Thanks for the tip enforcer

Nice pic of Steph. Didn't notice the cheek bones before.
E Etomi: Thanks Tunde.
I loke it, even the background ins't so bad cos it shows that it's a rapid catch. Maybe for red as say the enforcer a little decreasing would be fine.
E Etomi: Thanks!

I see this was shot in AV, I totally am one of those people who dislike shotting in AV expecially indoors, I prefer being able to control ALL the settings of my camera. Shooting with an ISO800 at a shutterspeed of 1/15 using flash just does not work for me. However it did give you a fairly good good shot.

One thing to think of though, the crease of the neck, not exactly a flattering site, when one takes close up images of people, you really do wnat to catch not only the good side but those nice bits. I know as I said before this probably was a quick catch the moment capture, but just thought it would be something for you to remember when doing a shoot where you may probably have more control over the environs and model.

Hope this helps.
