Sinking Ship

I have so much hope for my country. When Obama won the elections we were so jubilant, you would have thought he had won the Nigerian Presidential Elections. But just a day before, a girl was mercilessly beaten by men in a convoy who wanted her to move her car out of the way, and the more I thought about it, the more despair I felt. Can Nigeria really move forward? I thought nothing would be done about it but thankfully many women, men and Civil rights groups are standing up to this brutality, and I have a little ray of hope left. Lets hope that this does not get buried like many other incidents before it.

There is still hope, regardless of the hat is going around you.... like there may be a sinking ship, but also there is still one still standing, ragardless of whats going on around it.. I think thts enough for us to hold onto.....

This photo makes me even more passionate in the quest not to see Nigeria sink even more.

That little ray of hope you have left will give way to more streams of light...
