photoblog image Look at me

Look at me

This weekend I attended a burlesque themed show/club. It was so much fun trying to get pictures of everyones outfit but then my camera battery DIED on me just as the show began. I still managed to get a few good shots of the attendees. The low lighting was tricky and I had to try so hard to steady my hand (I don't have my flash here with me but Skee suggested a torch so I might get one), but it works for the theme. So I'll be putting up shots from the show all week. Enjoy

It seems she has her hands full . . . and I would like to see the expressions on the guys' faces. Perhaps you could increase their midtone levels.
E Etomi: Lol, seems like she does. I will try out your suggestion and see what I come up with but i wanted her face to be highlighted.

So, are the guys posing with her? smile I'm quite sure we'll all be enjoying your series this week, Etomi.
E Etomi: She didn't want to pose alone so she grabbed these guys..pun intended. smile
Nice shot. The guys seem to be enjoying themselves.

E Etomi: I know Micheal, that the plan. I'm getting two even cos I'm so forgetful

I love the shot !!!
E Etomi: thanks shakara smile
I like this. The low light makes it look rather seedy, which in this instance is a good thing
E Etomi: Yes it is, the shots have this sort of seedy theme. Thanks for stopping by
Nice Work!
E Etomi: Thanks Chachacha

Great! Don't using a flash gives the picture a special vintage look.
Lovely shot, you could have included more of the guy on the left and have hime totally in the frame, but still....very nice! A befitting title as well. Did you collect your visa in Skeetown, i'm extending your stay lol.
Oh! Etomi, this is very good! I like the scene and the capture!
