Lalle

Traditionally done by the Hausa tribe in the nothern part of Nigeria although a few other tribes like the Igbo also have a varied version. This was a bridal shower of a Nothern friend of ours. I think its quite artistic.

Interesteing how the trim in the shall mimicks the design on the feet. Makes for a nice flow and brings your attention to the hands.

What a beautiful design. smile

A friend of mine has both her hands and feel painted each time she goes home to Morocco. It always looks so lovely. I'm amazed at how long it lasts, and also how.

Interesting. The Arabs have something very similar that they refer to as "henna".
I was going to ask if this anything like henna. It's really so interesting and very artistic.
are those my feet? tongue Nice shot, I wish it was a tad brighter though.
