Rolling

Abstract shot 2. This escalator was pretty long and steep. I had time to pull out my camera to take this shot.

nice one Etomi!
E Etomi: Thanks!
hey e,

i like the feel of this shot...the sterile stainless steel, the repetative pattern of the lights, and the contrasting direction between the lights and the beams on the wall. really nice capture.
E Etomi: Thanks Nicole, quite surgical right?

Ah, you just knew if you threw in a strong diagonal I'd leave a favourable comment.

It's a wonderful composition with just enough abstract to make an attractive design and enough detail to see what it is. Well balanced all round.

More importantly, well done for seeing the opportunity and for wasting no time in executing it.
E Etomi: You like diagonals? Now I know! Thanks Chunter
Solitude of big cities. Desolation. A dynamic picture.
E Etomi: Thanks for stopping by Florence.

very good shutter speed.
Hi Etomi. One thing everybody has failed to mention, is the fantastic motion blur. That combined with the very strong diagonal and eerie lighting, make this a wonderful shot. I also agree with you, those lights do work well in the shot, plus how are you going to get rid of them anyway?!! Regards, Neil.
