Poor in Spirit

I wasn't sure which of these two fit the theme best. Which do you prefer?

Thanks so much for all your comments this week even though I've been too busy too comment on yours. I have been on a training program. Have a great weekend.

No second picture girl.

Hey Etomi, I cannot view the second picture. You need to assign it a date for everyone to see it. Pick some day in the past.
hey e,

the link to the second photo isn't working for me either. however, i love the shot that is posted. he is as cute as a button and his expression is priceless. i love the way this shot is framed, and the dof really draws the viewer's eye to the little boy.

Hello etomi, your lens is not listed in your equipment. I think you need a sharp lens. Fixed/Prime maybe. I use the cheap canon 50mm and its very good. Please let me know what lens you use.
Nice shot, great capture of the moment

Etomi, don't see any poverty here. Definitely not in this young lad's spirit grin

In terms of poverty I would rate the other (girl with fruit) a better one. This photo of the boy doesn't say anything about poverty at all. This guy is not poor in spirit, he is high of spirits.

Purely on photo quality, I would rate this one better. The girl's face in the other photo is too dark.
NIce shot, I think the background is still a little distracting though.

Hey E...Poor in spirit? Quite the opposite. This guy doesn't seem to have much in terms of wealth but he appears to have LOADS in terms of spirit. Definitely High in spirit. The garden n chairs do distract a bit though .

I picked this photo in a theme poverty. I don't feel it there. Most poor people don't show it or find ways to forget about it. Great shot !
I have to check how to post in a theme. Who decide them ? Can you help me with that ? Thank you !

great capture, though he seems more joyful than the poor in spirit title suggests.
