Confront Your Fears

Everyone must know I have a phobia for flying. Its not terrible as I can contain my fear in my head but cannot control the release of adrenaline everytime there are wierd sounds, or no sounds, or when the lights go off suddenly or the worst....when there is turbulence, especially one we are not told to brace ourselves for.

So on my way to Stockholm from frankurt, there was this lovely book called Flying Without Fear by Duane Brown. So I hung around the duty free area reading it. There's good news and bad news. Good news is that it worked and I was able to take this pic and even slept a little bit. The bad news is that all rational thinking was pumped away by adrenaline the minute we went through a really bad case of turbulence.

I'm back at square one.

Do you remember what were you flying over? Its a cool shot, and probably even cooler because of your fear of flying. Take a few more shots like that and who knows... you might just get over that fear.
E Etomi: Who knows right? I can't remember but it was over a country in North Africa.
i know that feeling every time I fly and now consider myself an expert on airplane noises especially the engines...this is a very nice photo and shows us the richness of the open blue sky
E Etomi: I'm so sensitive to any noise changes lol. Thanks Neil

nice shot etomi. from the thumbnail i thought it was outerspace. make sure that whenever you fly you pass by the frankfurt duty free book shop.
E Etomi: I mean I flew so much in the past few weeks it could have been outerspace. I definitely will stop by the shop next time round.

Irrational fear, I know the feeling. But think about it: what's the absolute worst that can happen? The plane falls out of the sky? What can you do about it? Nothing I think smile
Liking the shot.
E Etomi: Thanks Deji..Lol, I know.
