hey e,

its her wedding day...she is allowed to be crazy and corny. i actually really like this shot. i love the feeling of unconditional happiness that she is exuding in her pose. i really like the conversion to b/w...it brings out many of the details. my one critique is that i think that the background is blurred a bit too much.
E Etomi: Thanks Nicole, I was trying to potray movement using motion blur.

She was jumping right? Pretty cool shot. The only thing "wrong" that I see is her hand is cut off, but she was jumping so...it happens. Lovely shot regardless. She looks stunning!
E Etomi: Yes I wish I got her hands in the frame, didnt want to make her tired jumping up and down. I got one with her hands in but prefer this.

Nice smile

She looks so happy smile
E Etomi: Thanks Dury
Wow!
Lovely shot Etomi!
Great work!
E Etomi: Thanks Antonio
This is a great pose....the backround is a tad too blurred out for me, and the framing isnt the best...perhaps a few cm's up to include her right hand and less of the grass..
E Etomi: Thanks Yanik, can't change the crop, thats how I captured it. Maybe next wedding smile

What a wonderful time she's having, and quite rightly too. And what a wonderful capture. But there are problems.

I've no problem with the fuzziness of the background but the fussiness of it. The beautiful, happy lady is a little too camouflaged against it now that it's toned to match. She's lost against the various shades of grey. Perhaps in this case she would stand out more if this wasn't converted to black and white and we could see the green of the palm leaves behind and the grass in the foreground.

And yes, she does appear to have jumped a little out of frame. I think this could be saved by cropping off most of the grass beneath her and restoring the colour. What do you think?
E Etomi: Thanks Chunter I'll give that a try and see the outcome. I actually like the B&W though.
you know girls usually cry on their wedding day...Nowadays, its so different. Evereyone wants to run away from home to go try experimenst with thier husbands.
Etomi this is simply "Magnifico"....This is beautiful.
What ever you tell shy brides to make them do all this is still a wonder to me. I wish I could come to your own wedding..I would make you .... Dont worry til I come.
E Etomi: She cried though, for a few secs.
Rtomi...lol..I cant just stop believe me this is "Da' Pic"..Nice one K.
E Etomi: Thanks again Manuel
WOW! This is nice. Where you the wedding photographer? Where was this taken?
E Etomi: Yes I was smile and proud to be. This was taken at the reception at a hotel in Benin.

I think you might have used the wrong type of blurring. I tend to use gaussian. What conversion method did you use? channel mixer is a good one. Lovely capture all the same.

A friend of mine here says she knows you. Debo.
